Mother Earth's Chorus

about us

Mother Earth's Chorus has recorded the language of the plants through an instrument which deciphers the electronic variations from the surface of the plant's leaves to its root stem and translates their communications into music!

About Our Recordings

The owner is new to editing audio files. These are original recordings using a Music of The Plants device and a simple phone app. You may hear some background noise and the neighborhood Chicakadees too!  Until an upgrade, please enjoy the original Mother Earth’s Chorus!

About Our Photos

Photos of recorded plants are the actual plants recorded. Most of the other photos on the site are from the owners gardens.  This project began in late Fall of 2022 in Maine. It is the end of January 2023 now and the ground is covered with a foot or more of snow! More outdoor plants will be added this Spring! Houseplants can always be added.

The owner of Mother Earth's Chorus, Cindy Pinkney Canavan, has spent a lifetime involved with the organic herbal and gardening world. She has a degree in Ethnobotany and has utilized her gardening skills teaching, designing, installing and maintaining gardens all over New England, North Carolina and Washington State. Cindy's current inspiration for this site comes from the teachings and philosophies of Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of Braiding Sweetgrass and from the Music of The Plants, a device created by an intentional spiritual organization in Italy. Cindy's intention is to promote a deeper connection to and understanding of our environment through the music of the plants. Enjoy!
